Guild Information

General:
Raven Guard is a newly formed guild founded by a few RL friends. We all have extremely extensive raiding/pvp experience from other MMORPGs such as World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Star Wars Galaxies, and a few others. We are looking for both hardcore and casual players to bolster our newly formed ranks to join our crusade in setting our footprint in the Age of Conan history books.

Mission:
Our mission is to create a foothold in a battlekeep or resource node in the borderlands, while still maintaining a solid and consistent raiding experience. While not defending our lands, we will be excelling in PvE raiding. We will not require members to be hard-core players, as we will welcome any mature, team-working player, and we all realize life comes first.

What We Expect From a Member:
We do not require members be present for every raid.
We do not require members to put real life situations to the side for an online game.
We do require members to be mature and courteous.
We do require members to leave drama behind closed doors.

What A Member Should Expect From The Guild:
A member should expect help with their crafting.
A member should expect to get a fair shot at raid loot and raid spots.
A member should expect to easily receive help for quests and dungeons.
A member should not expect to be treated unequally.

Requirements:
All we require is you be a team player, competent, mature, and polite to fellow guild mates. When the game starts and the guild is established, we will determine and fill officer positions accordingly.

Ranks:
We will have an hierarchy of ranks similar to the standard guilds. The ranks will go as follows:
1. Guild leader
2. Officers
3. Class Leaders
4. Members
5. Recruits

1. The Guild Master - The Head honcho. The Guild Leader will not lead as a selfish dictator, but will be sacrificing his own chances at raid spots and loot when it is necessary. He will be the overseer of the DKP system, and will not ever use bias choices in decisions. Many guilds end up greeding their loot to real life friends, and this will be an act strictly forbidden in our ranks. Also, if you feel there is a problem with another member or that loot system is being treated unfairly, please do not feel hesitant to take it up with the Guild Leader.

2. The Officers - Officers will be appointed based on game skill, game knowledge, loyalty, and attendance. Many decisions will be decided by group voting and discussion between the Guild Leader and the Officers. To be eligible for an officer position (few will be given) you will need to be an active player.

3. Class Leaders - One leader of each specific archetype will be appointed based on activity, skill, and knowledge level of the specific class. The class leaders will be in charge of helping teach others of their specific class and giving them guidance as how to improve their PvP and raiding performance. It is imperative that a class leader be passionate about their role, and have a broad understanding of their classes role in both a raid and PvP setting.

4. Members - Our members are as valued as any officer. We want all members to feel they will be treated equally when it comes to raid spots and loot opportunities. Without members, there is no need for officers, and a guild would wither and fall. If a member has ANY concern, they should not feel hesitant to contact an Officer or the Guild Leader to get it resolved ASAP.

5. Recruits - As the guild grows, and we must be more wary of who we let join our Den, we will put people into the Recruits position. This insures that proven loyal members are a top priority to raid loot and raid spots over newly joined recruits. Once recruits have proven themselves after a week of PvE and PvP under supervision of their Class Leader, we will decide whether or not they are worthy of joining our ranks.
